Below is our Church Covenant. We ask each person who is committed to the ministry and life of First Baptist to affirm their agreement with this covenant each year. This is a special time to celebrate our unity in Christ.

Trusting that we have received God’s saving grace through our acceptance of His Son, Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Savior, we affirm our faith and commitment to God and each other through this covenant.

We pledge to serve Christ in fellowship together; to love and forgive one another as He loves and forgives us; to pray for each other, sharing in joys and helping in need; to welcome all who come in search of God; and to enjoy the broader fellowship and common mission of all brothers and sisters in the body of Christ.

We will endeavor to further the kingdom of God among us by gathering in joyful worship; by offering our time, gifts and resources to support the ministry of our congregation, and the ministry of the gospel to all people; and by engaging in family and individual devotions.

Strengthened and led by the Holy Spirit, we will strive in our personal relationships, work and leisure to live as Christ teaches us, reflecting the light of Jesus Christ and bearing the fruit of the Spirit by our love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
