Welcome to our web site!

Our Church's mission is to build God's family of faith through worship, study and service.
You are most welcome to our house of worship

9:30 am - Sunday School for Adults & Children
10:30 am - Sunday Service
11:30 am - Fellowship with Friends

The members of this congregation greet you not as a stranger, but as a guest of God, and as one we would call friend. As you rest in our home, be grateful to those strong and loyal souls who in the name of Christ built this House of Prayer so many years ago and to all before us who have beautified and hallowed it with their laughter and their tears. May you be very close to God in this venerable sanctuary, that whether your spirit be troubled or glad, anxious or at peace, you may be moved to seek His care and accept His gracious will. Our Church is an evangelical church with a social conscience. Affiliated with ABC/USA, our worship style is relaxed but not loose, dignified but not stilted. For over 160 years now, the love of God in Christ our Lord has been our message and, at the same time, the means by which it is given.

Our Church's Covenant

Trusting that we have received God's saving grace through our acceptance of His Son, Jesus Christ, as our Lord and Savior, we affirm our faith and commitment to God and each other through this covenant. We pledge to serve Christ in fellowship together; to love and forgive one another as He loves and forgives us; to pray for each other, sharing in joys and helping in need; to welcome all who come in search of God; and to enjoy the broader fellowship and common mission of all brothers and sisters in the body of Christ. We will endeavor to further the Kingdom of God among us by gathering in joyful worship; by offering our time and gifts to support the ministry of our congregation, and the ministry of the Gospel to all people; and by engaging in family and individual devotions. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we will strive in our personal relationships, work and leisure to live as Christ teaches us, reflecting the fruit of the Spirit by our love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We further pledge that upon moving to another locality, we will quickly seek to associate ourselves with a church of similar faith and practice.
